Zoo and Tequila tasting

An easy Uber ride away is a Zoo that I would really recommend. We come from Singapore that has one of the best zoos in the world but this Vallerta zoo, feels more safari like and we can get close to the animals. Buy the special packs of animal feed -so much fun.

We walked from the zoo down to the main road and was surprised by a Tequila producer, so of course we had to stop and see how tequila is made from agave.

Guadalajara, Tequila and Tlaquepaque

From Cove Vallerta we took a 4hour coach ride that was described like business class airplane seats with Wifi. i was sceptical at first but yes so true. The best pinata shops we found in Guadalajara. pottery in Tlaquepaque and of course what else does one experience in Tequila?

Walk ten minutes from Cove PV to EL Set for breakfast /lunch or dinner

It is called El Set because the movie Predator was filmed here. If you want a place close by for a good Mexican meal go to El Set. The view is awesome too. Mark would go down the steps to to the beach and watch the fisherman sell octopus and fish.

Happy hour ! The biggest Margaritas ever

One of our favourite happy hour and dinner places, right in the heart of town in Zona Romantico , excellent service. Order the guacamole and they will make it right in front of you. They are great with kids too , i must say PV is rather kid friendly.

Vallerta Artwalk -what an eye opener

PV with its wonderful cool air is the ideal place for a gallery walk. I was impressed by the number of galleries. Have a glass of wine and chat with local painters too. Had to buy to eye painting for my clinic.
